There are a lot of reasons why your property should
be appraised. Typically a lender will select a local
appraiser when you are refinancing your property
or when you are purchasing a new home. But what about
when you are considering selling? A local appraiser
can provide information concerning marketing time
and trends in the area, as well as determining a
range of value for your property that can save you
days on the market. Appraisers also can assist you
in providing valuations for estates from estate planning
to estate settlement.
Cindy Welle is a Licensed Appraiser which allows
appraisal work for most residential properties, single
family to 2-4 multi-family to vacant land. The process
of obtaining an appraisal license began in May 1997
and after many hours of education and 2000 hours
of appraisal work, Cindy received her Appraisal License
with the State of Colorado in 2002.
Betty Kracht is a Registered Appraiser, obtaining
that designation after months of education and passing
her State exam in September 2007. Betty is now working
on her 2000 hours of appraisal work or on-the-job
training working with Cindy at Meeker Realty LLC.
